Description

On day 1, begin your hike at the Cova Crater, surrounded by rocky mountains. Pass through mountains and valleys, with some challenging climbs, rewarded by spectacular views of the Atlantic and lush vegetation. The end of the first day is in Vila das Pombas, a small charming colonial-style town where you can rest and enjoy the local cuisine. On day 2, hike to Ribeira da Torre with its stunning banana plantations, cultivation terraces, and traditional houses on the hills. A short walk of 5 kilometers allows you to discover the valley and its peculiar mountain shapes.
